WOMEN FLOCK ONLINE TO FIND MIDDLETON INSPIRED STYLES
TRAFFIC TO FASHION SITE SHOPSTYLE JUMPS 100% AS WOMEN SEARCH FOR ROYAL WEDDING INSPIRED GLAMOUR
LONDON, 30 April 2011. After yesterday's royal wedding festivities came to an end traffic surged as fashion’s best kept secret was finally revealed. Britain’s favourite fashion shopping site ShopStyle.co.uk saw an enormous 100%* increase in traffic as women flocked online to find Middleton inspired dresses for their big days this summer.
After 4PM yesterday, women who had watched the royal wedding were clicking online to find Alexander McQueen style, simple white shifts and lace as inspired by the amazing looks worn by the Middleton sisters.
Shopstyle.co.uk - which hosts over 2,000 of the world’s leading fashion and style brands and retailers - saw the term ‘Alexander McQueen’ jump into the top 40 search terms as it was revealed the bride’s wedding dress was designed by the iconic UK fashion house.
Lace, maxi and white dresses also dominated 30% of the top 20 search terms as women across the country searched for a similar style to the Middleton sisters’ classic gowns.

Fashion shopping site ShopStyle.co.uk has been named the winner of the inaugural Best Aggregate Site award at the Drapers Etail Awards during a ceremony in London last night (27th January).
